New Acquisitions at Special Collections
Duration:
August 31, 2016 to February 28, 2017
Print Is Dead, an altered book by Caroline Creasy.
Students in Professor Eliot Dudik’s ART 440 Bookmaking class created the books displayed in this exhibit in the spring of 2016. The course curriculum included a class session in Special Collections to examine examples of our artists’ books. The students made three copies each of their book, one of which will be added to our permanent holdings.

The Special Collections Research Center regularly acquires new materials for our University Archives, Manuscript, and Rare Book collections to provide valuable learning and research opportunities to the William & Mary campus community and beyond. The selected recent additions displayed in this exhibit are a small sampling of the variety of items we collect, preserve, and make accessible.

Images of the exhibit are available from Swem Library on Flickr.

Curator: Jennie Davy, Burger Archives Specialist. Exhibit Design and Installation: Jessica Molz, SCRC Graphics Student Assistant, and Jennie Davy.
