This book series combines elements of science fiction/fantasy and historical fiction with adventure, mystery, and romance. It tells the story of a post-WWII nurse who travels back in time to the time of late Jacobite rebellions; she must reconcile her 20th century English beliefs with the 18th century Scottish wartime world. I started reading the series after watching the first season of the Starz adaptation, and now I am obsessed with both!Find It

This collection of short stories is about love gone wrong. Told from the perspective of various male voices, the stories focus on relationships broken apart, usually due to the infidelity of the man. This book highlights themes such as masculinity, personal growth, and love. Maybe not the best for those looking for a romantic novel, but if you're looking for some nuanced stories about love, this is a good one for you! This book is a compilation of Diaz's short love stories. Each one is filled with passion, heartache, grief, love--it never stops tugging on the heartstrings.Find It

It's the first book of one of my favorite regency romance series. Good historical bits on the Napoleonic Wars with espionage and good fluffy bits.
