Students, find an item reserved for your course.
Faculty, learn more about our course reserve services.
What are reserves?
Reserves provide equal access to course materials. Physical materials, such as books and DVDs are requested by faculty for a specific course and held at the Circulation desk for the semester. eReserves, such as scanned articles and video clips are made available to faculty and students via Blackboard.
How long can I keep reserve items?
Books check out for three hours, and DVDs check out for four hours. eReserves may be used at your leisure with your Blackboard login.
Are there overdue fines for reserve items?
Yes. Borrowers with overdue reserve items will be billed $1 per hour the item is overdue. Overdue fines for reserve items are capped at $20.
What happens if I lose a reserve item?
Because reserves materials are needed by students and instructors throughout the semester, replacement copies for lost items must be ordered promptly. For that reason, reserve materials that are more than 7 days overdue will be considered lost, and the fines will be applied to your library account. You will be billed for the standard replacement charges and will also be responsible for the maximum overdue fine of $20. These fines and fees are nonrefundable.
