The Most Important Question, What is Truth (1719-1720),
printed in Ludlow, England, is the first book known to have been printed
by William Parks, Williamsburg's first public printer. As Williamsburg's
first printer, he produced the first cookbook in America and owned and
published the invaluable newspaper The Virginia Gazette.
