This is a photograph of the Peyton Randolph House,
Williamsburg, Virginia, before restoration to its colonial appearance.
Peyton Randolph (d. 1775) was first president of the Continental Congress.
The picture was taken by Harry Mann around 1907
when the houses in Williamsburg were being spruced up for the Jamestown
Exposition.
