MANLESS DANCE
The "Manless Dance" was given annually as a fundraising event of the Young
Women's Christian Association. Some of the co-eds dressed as men, borrowing
clothes from male students. One of the advertisements read "Be sure and
come, Co-eds, with your girl, your pep, and your dollar. Let's show the
world that men are not essential to a good time."
