What are the fees for lost or damaged items?
We do not accept replacement copies of lost or damaged items. All fees include the market price of the item, a $20 processing fee, and any overdue charges unless otherwise stated.
In some circumstances, you may be charged a flat rate of $180 per item instead of the market price. If this happens, you have the right to ask us to change the bill to reflect the market price of each item and not the $180 replacement fee.

Once materials are 2 weeks overdue, you will be billed for the items and your library privileges will be suspended. A bill will be sent to to the Bursar's Office and your library account will be blocked until you pay the replacement costs at the Cashier's Office.
What if I find an item after I've paid for it?
- If you find the item within 90 days of payment, you are eligible for a refund of the replacement cost (not including processing fees or overdue fines).
- Assigned study keys are not eligible for refunds.
