Evelyn "Eva" Tingey Craven Gregory was the daughter of Rear Admiral Thomas Tingey Craven and his second wife, Emily Truxton. In the late 1860's, she married John Munford Gregory III, son of Governor and Judge John Munford Gregory II and his wife, Martha "Amanda" Wallace. He became active in local politics, serving as District Attorney and later Judge in Suisun, CA, where they made their home. Together they had four sons: John Munford IV, Thomas Tingey Craven, Truxton, and Alfred Gregory. Her birth and death dates are unknown, though she was probably born in the late 1840's and was certainly still living in the early 1900's.

A Note About The Contents Of This Wiki
The information available in this wiki is the best available from known documents and sources at the time it was written. Unfortunately, many of the early original records of William & Mary were destroyed by fires, military occupation, and the normal effects of time. Information in this wiki is not complete as new information continues to be uncovered in Swem Library's Special Collections Research Center and elsewhere. Researchers are strongly encouraged to use the Special Collections search tools for their research as the information contained in this wiki is by no means comprehensive.
