Thomas Hayter

Thomas Hayter served as the chancellor of the College of William and Mary in 1762. One year earlier, in 1761, he was appointed as the Bishop of London. In 1751, Hayter was appointed to serve as tutor to the future King George III. He also served as the Bishop of Norwich from 1749 until 1761.
