Christi White Barranger

Christi Barranger is an attorney in private practice in Richmond. Earlier in her career, she served as a Technical Information Specialist in the Senior Specialist Division of the Congressional Research Service at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.

Christi grew up in Richmond and earned a B.A. in Mathematics and History from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 1973, followed by a J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1977. She is active in her community and has held leadership roles, including Treasurer, Chair of the Board of Trustees, and Director of Television Ministries at Northminster Baptist Church. She has also served in officer and board positions with the Virginia Association of Workers for the Blind, the Metropolitan Women’s Bar, and the Virginia Conservation Association. Her husband, Gary A. Barranger, is a 1973 graduate of William & Mary, earned his J.D. from the College in 1976, and is a former member of the William & Mary Libraries Board.
