William & Mary Libraries seek an organized and self-motivated colleague to serve as the Acquisitions Specialist in the Content Services department of William & Mary Libraries. The Acquisitions Specialist will collaborate with colleagues across the library to purchase library materials in all formats. They will report to the head of cataloging and metadata and work with a team of supportive colleagues.
The Acquisitions Specialist orders, receives, and invoices print books, ebooks, and media for the libraries’ collections. The position also assists with receiving the libraries’ print journals and newspapers, communicates with library users about their purchase requests, and participates in library collections projects.
