William & Mary Libraries is pleased to assist with accessibility requests for library-owned items for students registered with Student Accessibility Services (SAS.)
Please note the following guidelines:

Only library-owned items are eligible for scanning or electronic versions.
- Items not owned by the library, including textbooks and faculty's personal copies, cannot be scanned.
Your request will be processed in one of three ways:
Option 1: HathiTrust PDF
You will receive a PDF from the HathiTrust Digital Library Accessible Text Service formatted for adaptive technologies.
Option 2: Electronic Version
The library may purchase an electronic version suitable for use with adaptive technologies.
Option 3: Scanned PDF
The library will scan the requested item and provide you with a searchable PDF for compatibility with adaptive technologies.
Delivery
Upon completion of your request, you will receive an email notification. The library is committed to fulfilling your request as promptly as possible.
