In order to have your gift count in tax year 2011, please be aware of the following guidelines:
- Checks: Be sure check is dated and postmarked on or before December 31. (Remember December 31 is a Saturday this year.)
- Credit cards: Please give online. Donors can give online up until midnight, December 31. [Credit card gifts sent via mail must be received and processed on or before Friday, December 30 at 5:00 p.m. Postmarks of December 31 for mailed credit card gifts cannot be honored for calendar year 2011 tax deductible gifts.]
- Stock gifts: Must arrive in one of our accounts by Friday, December 30, as the stock market is closed on Saturday, December 31.
