Phil the Pig: Student Philanthropy Week, Feb. 18-21

Published on

Phil the Pig is coming to W&M for Student Philanthropy Week, Feb. 18-21. Phil’s goal is to teach students what philanthropy is all about, and to show them how a few pennies can go a long way!

Throughout the week, development ambassadors will host Class Penny Wars. Each student class (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) will have its own piggy bank to fill. These banks will be located in the Sadler Center Atrium from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18-Wednesday, Feb. 20 and from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21.

Development ambassadors will also be in Swem Library on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 8-10 a.m. with free coffee and stress relief. Stop by, grab a cup of java and have a chat about how you can give back.

Head over to the Sadler Center, Tidewater A, for Student Philanthropy Day Celebration on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 6-8 p.m.
