Kick off Earth Day celebrations with lunch and a discussion of David George Haskell’s book The Forest Unseen: A Year’s Watch in Nature, 2012 winner of the Natural History Literature award from the National Outdoor Book Awards and selected by Kirkus Reviews for their Best of 2012 list.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate. Swem provides a copy of the book (to read in advance) and a free lunch! The event will be held Monday, April 15 from noon-1 p.m. at Swem Library, but sign up soon as space is limited
