Opening reception for new exhibit, Blockades, Books & Bassinets: Children playing, learning, and surviving during the Civil War: 4-6 p.m., Special Collections Research Center

Thursday, April 18

TedTalk - Daphne Koller, What We're Learning From Online Education: 12 p.m., Kyle Collaboration Lab. Don Welsh will lead a discussion on online learning following Koller's TedTalk.

Friday, April 19

William & Mary Hip Hop Collection Launch: 6-10 p.m., Read & Relax area. The event features hip hop-related film screenings, panel discussions with the filmmakers and local hip hop artists, entertainment by DJ Wyze and refreshments. Free and open to the public. The W&M Hip Hop Collection is dedicated to Virginia's hip hop culture and history from the 1980s to present.
