Be the match: Bone marrow drive to be held at Swem Library

Published on

William & Mary’s “Be The Match” organization will hold a bone marrow drive in Swem Library’s Read & Relax area (1st floor) on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 10AM-6PM.

The drive is being held in support of LaTisha Lankford, Swem’s cataloging and metadata librarian, who was recently diagnosed with aplastic anemia and PNH, rare life-threatening diseases of the blood. The drive will not only benefit LaTisha, but anyone suffering from a blood disease.

The swabbing process is quick and easy. In just a few minutes, you can take the first step to possibly saving someone’s life!
