The Gentlemen of the College 20th Anniversary

Duration:
April 15, 2010 to August 20, 2010

All-male a capella group The Gentlemen of the College celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Organized in the spring of 1990 by founders Michael Fitch and Doug Stambler along with nine like-minded a capella enthusiasts, the group originally focused on barbershop music, but has since expanded its repertoire to include modern pop, rock, and indie music. Along with this wide variety of musical stylings, the group is known for its humorous and dynamic stage presence, from lively antics during songs to comedy sketches performed between numbers. The Gentlemen are also known for their distinctive style of dress, including brown khakis, blue blazers, and, in keeping with their comedic roots, a variety of crazy ties.
