The Reeder Media Center collaborates with faculty to support media-rich course projects—podcasts, video essays, digital stories, and more. Early conversations help us align assignment goals, timelines, and support so that students have the guidance they need from first ideas through final production.
We can tailor our involvement to the needs of your course, from a single visit to more sustained collaboration.
How We Can Support Your Teaching & Learning
- Class Visits & Overviews
Visit your class to introduce the media project, outline expectations, and connect research, story, and production processes. - Hands-On Instruction
Provide in-class or lab-based instruction on media production principles, equipment use, and editing workflows that match your assignment. - Student Consultations
Meet individually or in small groups with students to help them move from idea to plan, and from draft to polished work. - Project Support Across the Semester
Coordinate checkpoints, troubleshoot production challenges, and help students reflect on how their media choices communicate course ideas.
