The Art of Publication Deals: Negotiating with Publishers about your Author's Rights

During this session, graduate students will have the opportunity to examine publication agreements from publishers in the humanities, science and social science fields. They will learn how to interpret publication agreements and options for negotiating with publishers to ensure they’re retaining author rights in their work. This workshop will be helpful for students submitting their first publication or those who want to learn more about agreements they’ve signed in the past.
