An exciting discussion about two new books chronicling local Black history

Join us for a conversation with director of the W&M Bray School Lab Maureen Elgersman Lee, graduate assistant Nicole Brown, and Lemon Project director Jody Allen. They will discuss their two new books, The Williamsburg Bray School, 1760-1774: A History Through Records, Reflections, and Rediscovery (the W&M Bray School Lab’s first book project) and Roses in December: Black Life in Hanover County from Civil War to Civil Rights.
