The National Society Children of the American Colonists honorary national president Graham Randolph Lerner and honorary president general Melanie K. Platte presented a check on behalf of NSCAC to Swem Library. Accepting on behalf of Swem Library earlier this month were Amy Schindler, University Archivist, and Beatriz Hardy, Interim Dean of University Libraries at the Earl Gregg Swem Library at the College of William & Mary. "Preserving Our Past, Empowering Our Future," Lerner's 2010-2011 National Project, raised funds to benefit the Special Collections Research Center to preserve and restore historical documents that relate to early colonial life in the United States.
