Media production studios full? Still need to finish your video project (due tomorrow at 8:00am)? Swem has you covered! We now have 5 MacBook Pro laptops available for in-library use. They check out for 4 hours at a time, and you can use them anywhere in the library (except the Mews Cafe). Borrow one now from the circulation desk--just show your W&M ID card.
The MacBooks are equipped with the entire Adobe Creative Suite (5.5 Master Collection) and Final Cut Pro 7. Check at the circulation desk for a full list of the installed programs.
Media staff can still help you navigate through the programs when you need a little extra attention, but now you’re free to move about the building as you work. Make group collaboration easier by using one of the LCD group studies on the 1st floor or produce quality media in your favorite corner on the 3rd floor (with headphones of course).
Reservations for course-related work will have first priority – so be sure to make your reservation soon!
