Find Really Good Sources with a Research Appointment

It's crunch time for research papers!  The end of the semester looms, with due dates for large research papers on the horizon.

Those papers require really good sources -- highly relevant books, journal articles, government documents, primary sources, and more.

Need help finding those really good sources?

Make a research appointment with one of our reference librarians.  Just fill out the research appointment request, telling us about your topic, types of sources needed, and when you're available to meet.

What happens then?  We'll match you with a reference librarian, and that librarian will contact you to schedule the appointment.  When you meet, and depending on the specific help you need, the librarian will:

  • recommend the best databases or other sources for your topic
  • teach you how to search those databases
  • advise you on how to find and capture full-text sources
  • explain how to cite your sources and how to use citation tools such as RefWorks
  • give you feedback as you search

You'll learn great skills that will help find those really good sources for this semester's papers and beyond.
