In early January a small group of Arts & Sciences graduate students began a project to discover and organize tools and techniques that would be helpful in their instructional roles as Teaching Assistants at William & Mary. This workshop will share the results of their work and initiate a broader discussion on ways to support graduate students in their teaching.

A leader of the University Teaching Project’s spring series at William & Mary teamed up with two doctoral students from the School of Education to offer insight on self-regulated learning for both faculty and students of higher education.

Over the Spring 2019 semester, William & Mary’s participating faculty and learning partners across the institution will gather each Wednesday in the Earl Gregg Swem Library to explore multiple perspectives on teaching and learning within higher education.

Over a brown-bag lunch and workshop setting, William & Mary’s e-Learning Initiatives tackled a topic that frequently creates challenges for both faculty and students of K-12 and higher education: group work. 

The Special Collections Research Center will award travel grants of up to $1,500 to faculty, graduate students, and/or independent researchers to support use of its collections. 

William & Mary Libraries has partnered with five universities in Virginia and West Virginia to create a digital hub of historical materials related to the region.
