When we rest from longing for the beloveds, Migration is terrible, the watchmen urge it on. Moons shine forth from under the little clouds.

Notes:
1. This text is the beginning of a well-known inqilāb in the modern tradition. This text is unusually short compared to the rest of the manuscript; the Hebrew text that follows is likewise short.
2. The term used for moons here—ابدارن—uses a Tamazight plural.
